We support projects, programs, and organizations on their way to starting their own nonprofits for those that are mission-aligned, community development projects in Greater KC. Social entrepreneurs selected for this program are able to seek grants and tax-deductible donations without yet having their own 501(c)(3) status, thus increasing their capacity and the impact of their work. To date, CCF has fiscally sponsored 10 social ventures that have raised more than $3.7 million dollars to support community development and economic opportunity initiatives.

What is #GivingTuesday ?

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 (the very same year CCF that was founded!!) as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. It is now an independent nonprofit that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
